Everybody has an 'about me'...

In September 2020, my partner and me moved into a converted Mercedes Sprinter van and escaped the second National UK lockdown by driving it around France and Spain. Why am I telling you this? Well, I believe that in life you have to choose the path that scares you, the one that everyone else tells you isn't the 'safe' option. Once you've journeyed down the path, you realise that it's not that scary and that things really do work out for you if you're being true to you.

I've lived 1000 lives in the 30 years I've been in this human experience; I've toured all across the UK, Europe, America and Australia with my old band Ghouls. Running every morning for years resulted me in coming 9th place in the Stratford Marathon and achieving a sub-3 hour time, I also once won a half-marathon in Brooklyn, NYC by complete fluke. I've played Brixton Academy, lived in a van, swam 10km twice, written and released 10 songs in 30 days, made countless vegan pizzas from scratch and I could probably keep writing but I'll stop there...

I'm not trying to flex here, I just want to show people that if you want it, you can have it - just go and get it.

These days my focus is predominantly on creativity. My new venture, August Radio Project, is now my outlet. August Radio Project is so much more than me as a songwriter and performer though; it's songwriting for and with other artists and musicians, it's artwork, designs, podcasts and so much more.

Through all this I hope to inspire others to find their creativity, for it's inside every single one of us. All you gotta do it do. So go, create.
